What this adapter does
This UGREEN USB C to HDMI adapter converts a USB‑C (with DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt) output into an HDMI 2.1 connection so you can mirror or extend your laptop, phone, tablet or handheld console to an HDMI display — TV, monitor or projector.
Supported video and audio
It supports high bandwidth video up to 48 Gbps and resolutions including 8K@60Hz and high refresh rates at lower resolutions. HDR formats such as Dynamic HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are supported, and it carries multi‑channel audio (Dolby Atmos supported) over HDMI.
Compatibility and important to know
The adapter requires a device with USB‑C that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or a Thunderbolt 3/4/5 port. Check your device specifications before buying — not all USB‑C ports output video. Works with modern MacBook, iPad (USB‑C models), Surface, many Android phones and handheld gaming devices that support video output.
Design and handling
The adapter has an aluminum housing for heat dissipation and a braided cable to improve durability. Its compact size makes it convenient for travel or connecting at a desk.
