Biomutant is an open world RPG developed by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic. The game takes players to a peculiar world inhabited by humanoid animals – this universe combines the post-apocalyptic science fiction elements with themes from the Kung-Fu movies. Upon starting his adventure, a player has to create his character from scratch and develop him as the story progresses – one can choose multiple cyber-implants and mutations enabling his character to use certain special abilities. During the story campaign, one can explore the vast open world and complete consecutive tasks; however, the most important aspect of the game is fighting numerous foes and making a good use of the arcade system, which allows a player to utilize various firearms and multiple types of cold steel. Also important are the companion droids, which can be developed and modified by players. Moreover, the game does not lack the crafting system. The exploration is even more pleasing due to the access to multiple means of transportation, such as jet skis, balloons, and flying saucers.
